In those early days Third Class Normal was a pre-requisite for Second Class or First. So Estevan students went to Regina to take Normal. The first four to go to Normal were Maria Terry, Gladys Scott, Norman McLeod and Claire Reynolds. As each class of Estevan students went up to Regina to Normal they got together and had their picture taken.
