74. Estevan National Exhibition Centre (119-4th Street)

In 1977, the Estevan National Exhibition Centre was built with the support of the federal, provincial, and municipal governments, as well as the generous donations of citizens and businesses. The Exhibition Centre has a small permanent collection, but usually displays traveling exhibits that cover a wide variety of interests and come from throughout Canada as well as from some foreign countries. The goal of the Exhibition Centre is to bring cultural displays to Canada's smaller communities.

In the past, the Exhibition Centre has had historical and multi-cultural displays, and exhibits of natural history and the physical sciences. Art displays have included paintings, tapestries, sculptures, and photography. In addition to exhibits of national significance, the Exhibition Centre has displays of provincial and local importance. The Centre is open from nine to five weekdays, and one to five weekends. In the summer, the hours of operation are increased. Coffee is available, especially for the stalwarts who walk the final part of the tour.
